Hooters Wing Sauce Medium

The original thrill on the grill. Delicious for ribs, chops, shrimp, seafood and dips. Recreate the flavor of your favorite wings and enjoy them anytime from the comfort of your home with this Hooters Wing Sauce. The “medium” wing sauce is pretty mildly spicy versus many of the other wing sauces out there. Try their Hot flavor of wing sauce if you want something with more serious kick. One 12-oz jar serves approximately 5 pounds of wings. Simply shake the Hooters Wing Sauce well and then apply.

I always find it interesting that restaurants, particularly chains or franchise style restaurants ell their sauce in grocery stores. Seems like it would undermine the value of going to the restaurant at all and cause a bunch of loss of revenue for the franchise owners. But maybe at a certain size of marketing budget this actually just helps keep the brand top-of-mind in other food places. Maybe it’s just a nice novelty item for tourists to be able to buy and take home? Whatever the reason, it must work out well for the brands to sell their restaurant style sauce since so many places do it now.

What do you think?
