The Midland Ghost White Pepper Sauce is a savory white pepper sauce crafted from our home grown Ghost Peppers. Hand picked and aged under our family’s care in Midland, Georgia. It was originally called “duck sauce”. It came about on a duck hunt near Hurtsboro, Alabama. After a long day of hunting, the hunters spent the better part of the evening revisiting the days stories only to realize the ducks had not been prepared for dinner. With the Midland Ghost pepper sauce close at hand and a combination of other ingredients, our white pepper sauce was created for the late night feast. The sauce was later refined to the Midland Ghost White Pepper Sauce we sell today and pairs well on everything you can imagine.
Duck sauce to me was always the sweet orange packet that come with delicious cheap Chinese style takeout in NYC. 😂
Anyone else think this bottle looks like a shampoo bottle? Also, this seems to be more of a white BBQ sauce, gravy, or similar to a mayo substitute more than a hot sauce. Like a hot ranch sauce? What do you think?
