The can lining was produced without BPA… I had no idea what that meant, so I looked it up for you.
What does it mean for something to be BPA Free? BPA stands for bisphenol A. BPA is an industrial chemical that has been used to make certain plastics and resins since the 1960s. Polycarbonate plastics are often used in containers that store food and beverages, such as water bottles.
Despite all the organics, this cranberry sauce is just as high in sugars than most other canned products. But that’s probably just part of the cranberry sauce flavor. The upside down can style and because “Simple Truth” is a Kroger grocery store store brand, I would suspect that Ocean Spray or another large producer actually makes this product for them. But I guess this stuff doesn’t get the ribbed can that made that classic weird look we all know when it plops out on a plate. 😬😂
