A.1. adds uniquely unforgettable flavor that elevates everything from elegant steaks to flavorful burgers and exciting breakfast items. The distinctive flavor that’s synonymous with steak is still the one everyone knows and loves about this product. The 10 oz bottle is a great option to keep on top of your customer-facing tables.
A.1. Original Sauce (recently rebranded from A.1. Steak Sauce) in the United States is a brand of Brown Sauce produced by Brand & co in the United Kingdom and in North America by Kraft Foods. Sold from 1831 as a condiment for meat or game dishes in the United Kingdom, the makers later introduced the product to Canada, and later to the US where it was marketed as a steak sauce. A.1. sauce is still produced in England and exported to Asia. In May 2014, Kraft Foods announced it was dropping the word “steak” from the A.1. name reverting to A.1 Sauce, to “reflect modern dining habits”. Whatever that means. I think it’s still going to be classified under steak sauce here on SauceRank, unless everyone has a better way of categorizing it? Maybe it can just get completely lost in a general condiments category? Widely available in the U.S. and Canada, but only sold by Tesco, Costco and Ocado in the UK.
